• A surprisingly rough and wild route to remote and beautiful Loch Tanna, Arran’s biggest and most remote loch.
  • Here you are spoilt for choice with many paths to follow through the trees.
  • An accessible open walk on well-made paths through heather and alongside Sannox burn, permitting easy access to the dramatic views of North Glen Sannox. Boggy terrain further up the glen.
  • Inland footpath
  • Steep steps down from the road to the beach. Walk north for three miles to Blackwaterfoot, or south for one mile to Corriecravie.
  • Start of a half-mile climb to Auchencairn
  • 2-mile walk to this elevated viewpoint. Also a path to South Corriegills.
  • 2-mile walk along the coastal path.
  • A short circular walk around the foot of a dramatic glen with an option to extend the walk further into the rugged mountain environment.
